We are a mixed family farm with a small area of arable contracted out to my brother and run both a pig herd and flock of sheep. I farm 750 outdoor sows in North Norfolk taking all the progeny through to slaughter with my wife Helen.  The pigs are marketed through Pilgrims outdoor breed contract for the Waitrose supply chain.  We also run Swannington Farm to Fork wholesale butchers supply caterers in Norfolk and Suffolk with a complete range of meats along side are two Retail butchers shops.   I am currently Chairman of the National Pig Association and serve on the AHDB pork board with specific responsibility for overseeing the marketing department.  Away from the business I am a keen supporter of North Walsham rugby club and thoroughly enjoy watching my two girls play Hockey and competing in various equestrian competitions.
